Events & Happenings

New Hymnal? A potential switch to the new hymnal is being discussed. A member has donated copies of the Lutheran Service Book (LSB), and these are now in the pews. Please let Pastor or an officer (see list at right) know if you have questions or comments.

Sharing Hope Benefit Concert. Proceeds support Sharing Hope's efforts to help residents in need with property maintenance. Tickets on sale now! $7 individual, $12 couple, $15 family. See the flyer here. See Susan Roschke to purchase tickets or to donate an auction item.

Directory.  It's time for a new directory printing! A draft will be posted in the entryways in the next week or so. Please check your information and make any necessary corrections by June 10th.

Call Process. We were assigned a St. Louis seminary graduate during the Call Service on May 1st. His name is Richard Davenport! For brief biographies of Richard and his fiancee Laurie, click here.

Outreach project meetings
are held the first Sunday of the month, following worship -- all members and friends are invited to partici-pate! Please see the minutes of prior meetings on the GOALS page, or review the printed copies in the Bible Study room. You are also invited to join a project committee. See the sign up sheet below. (Next meeting June 3, 2012.)

Bible Study Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m.

Monthly Coffee Hours following the worship service on the fourth Sunday of each month are a time to connect with members and friends. Anyone can host a coffee hour--it is a great way to get to know each other. Too much for you alone? Ask a friend to share the effort!

For more upcoming events, please see the calendar page.

For Children

Children participate with the adults for the beginning of worship, then may head to the fellowship room for child-oriented worship and crafts. The children are enjoying this new approach to Sunday School. We hope this will help both children and parents get more out of the Sunday Services.

Let us know what you think!

For younger children and their parents, a changing table, rocking chair, and books and toys are available in a small room off the entryway (where worship may still be heard).

Church officers:
